PCA Chicago Region 2025 Event and Club Race Chair
Welcome to The Road America Challenge (aka TRAC), the Chicago Region’s 33rd Club Race and 58th Drivers Education at Road America, featuring a Friday evening Intro to Club Racing Social under the Eurosport canopy with food and drink, (new for 2025) a Track Walk facilitated by former Porsche factory driver and PCA Nationals Club Race Coach David Murry, two opportunities to take friends and family out on the track for touring laps, a Saturday evening Porsche Parade into town using the original roads before the track existed, followed by a downtown car show, gourmet buffet dinner, and party at historic Siebkins Resort!
Road America is an iconic and historic 4-mile track that is revered worldwide by professionals and amateurs alike and has attracted participants for this event from all over North America. As you can probably imagine, an event of this magnitude requires a lot of coordination, attention to details and massive To Do lists. It would not be possible without a tremendous group of volunteers, anchored by my core event staff. I cannot thank them all enough. Truly. You’ll be able to identify them, if you have questions, by the slate grey Club Race ball caps we’ll be wearing. We’d love to assist in any way.
If Club Racing, please be prepared to grid early so our wonderful volunteers have time to get everyone in their proper place so each race is as enjoyable and competitive as it should be. It will be important to listen and adhere to the announcements from the tower!
