Welcome to The Road America Challenge (TRAC), the Chicago Region’s 34th Club Race and 60th Driver’s Education at Road America in Beautiful Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin!
Saturday evening, we will be having our police escort from the track directly into historic downtown Elkhart Lake followed by a downtown closed-street car show, gourmet buffet dinner and party at the Historic Siebkens Resort. Tickets for two dinner seating times and menu information are available through Club Reg., please register online as walk-ins will be limited.
We will continue to have our Track Touring available for family and friends for a $20 donation per vehicle for our annual charities; see schedule for times.
Road America is a world-renowned racecourse that winds its 4.048 mile track through the natural moraines from our glacial past. This annual event has brought thousands of motorsports enthusiasts together to enjoy the camaraderie of driver education and club racing. This year is special as we are celebrating 75 years of Porsche Motorsports.
Eurosport will be having a Club Racing Introduction and question-and-answer lunch on Saturday for interested DE drivers; David Murry, former Porsche factory driver will be in attendance. Register for this event at DE drivers’ meeting Saturday morning.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who provide me the opportunity to be able to Chair such a special event, namely Ross, Keith, Mark, Todd, Tess, Doc Joe, Jody, George, Andy, Joel, John, Stan, Susan, and Dana, and all others who commit their time and energy from Local and National PCA to make this event happen.
Club Racers, please grid early, with the newly widened grid and numbers on the pavement; gridding should be more efficient. Please keep the center lane open where applicable. Scales and tech this year are moved to be in the lower north paddock by turn 14 in the drive-thru garage vs our previous location in the RA center.
