To assist the volunteers directing cars to assigned grid positions, please follow these guidelines:
- Consult the attached map to understand numbering of the grid positions at Road America. There will be limited signs to assist you in locating your spot.
- As you enter the grid you will be greeted by a volunteer who will use hand signals to indicate your grid position.
- As you proceed there will be other workers providing additional grid direction.
- As you near your position there will be a volunteer/spotter to help you park in your assigned grid position. Please try not to overshoot your position.
- If the spotter is helping park another car, please be patient and try not to bunch up by keeping a respectful distance from the car ahead of you.
- If you do overshoot your spot and can’t reverse then proceed to the top of the grid, exit to the right and go back around. We will wait for you!
- If you are in the overflow area (positions 49-69) please park as close to the fence as possible to allow other cars to get past.
IMPORTANT! Once the 5 minute announcement has been made there will be no more cars allowed up the grid, except those who overshot their spot.
Any cars arriving after this announcement will be gridded in the overflow area by time of arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS!
